Cloaks and Hukes

These are not in fashion though they were commonly used as travel garments. By preference make a coat, but if you want a cloak then they were normally circular or half circular and worn with either a brooch or buttons to fasten. Picture needed
Hukes were another common travel garment and a useful over-garment for your basic traveller. It is simply a long and reasonably wide tabard; just two rectangles sewn together with a hole for the head. Since this is intended as protection from the weather, a huke should only be made from heavy well-fulled wool that has a good chance of being waterproof
